I actually didn’t realize that the lifespan of a machine is about ten years, and that getting a newer machine could actually save some money in the long run. Plus, it could be really cool to see what new things a new machine can do compared to an old one.

    Nowadays, with all the leasing and rental options for office equipment particularly copiers and printing machines, a good 2 or 3 years is enough to make an upgrade. There are options like keep the machine you least after a certain number of years ( definitely not ten ), and upgrade to a better unit model for the same leasing price. If you have the budget, buy a brand new and get the most out of it, but if you have a budget which is lesser compared to big companies, considering leasing ain’t bad at all.
