Konica Minolta Receives Multiple Editor's Choice Awards from Better Buys for Business
Recently Launched bizhub Products Recognized for Market-Leading Performance

(Konica Minolta), a leading provider of advanced imaging and networking technologies for the desktop to the print shop, today announced the availability of the new bizhub® 652/552 Series of Monochrome Multifunctional Products (MFPs - print, copy, scan and fax all in one system) with standard color scanning capabilities. With print and copy speeds of 65 and 55 pages ppm, respectively, the bizhub 652 and bizhub 552, are ideal for mid- to high- volume office workgroups that require a reliable monochrome MFP with network capabilities and flexible document finishing and distribution functionality.
bizhub 652/552 Series Highlights include:
- Standard Color Scanning: Scan to multiple destinations at up to 78 originals per minute (opm)
- Mobile printing via Bluetooth: Print and save files to a box directly from a Smartphone
- Production-quality finishing: Choice of modular finishing options including up to 100-sheet stapling, two- and three-hole punching, saddle-stitch for creating 80-page booklets, Z-folding and even tri-fold

Based on the bizhub OP architecture which includes the Emperon® Print System, the bizhub 652/552 Series allows users to scan documents to Email, FTP server, SMB or perform TWAIN scanning from PCs, boosting productivity at speeds of up to 78 opm (300 dpi). Both systems were designed for ISO 15408 Common Criteria classification with enhanced security features such as Secure Print with password security locks, customized user authentication, and encrypted PDF workflow.

The bizhub 652/552 Series features the first bizhub MFPs to use environmentally friendly and recycled plastics, and both systems offer power consumption reduction with energy-saving operation. The environmentally sound performance of these systems has been confirmed by Energy Star, RoHS, Blue Angel Mark, and is WEEE compliant. Additionally, the bizhub 652/552 Series uses Simitri® HD polymerized toner produced from Biomass, a renewable organic resource that has less environmental impact than conventional toners.

Free Application Connects Mobile Professional's iPad/iPhone/iPod touch with bizhub MFP

(Konica Minolta), a leading provider of advanced imaging and networking technologies for the desktop to the print shop, today announces the immediate availability of a free mobile printing application for select iPad®, iPhone®, and iPod® touch users. PageScope® Mobile will connect the award-winning line of bizhub® Multifunctional Products (MFPs) to these popular devices.
With the ever increasing popularity of iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch devices in the global workplace, PageScope Mobile is an application that connects a bizhub MFP with an end-user's iPhone, iPad and iPod touch to browse, read and instruct printing of select documents and images. Once paired with a WiFi connection, PageScope Mobile will enable users to utilize their business documents in a variety of creative ways and take advantage of mobility with the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. With the launch of PageScope Mobile, Konica Minolta continues its legacy of innovation to support today's mobile professional.
Now mobile professionals can:
- Print Emails and attachments directly to a bizhub MFP.
- Print PDF, TIFF, JPEG and XPS documents.
